Questions about working with us.
Do you only work on lead generation?
No. Lead generation is where a lot of our own work started, but we build custom software for any business process: portals, CRMs, booking apps, invoicing and internal tools.
Do you supply developers to join our team?
No. We don't hire out developers. We take on a project, design and build it, and can run it for you afterwards.
How long does a project take?
It depends on scope. Typical timelines are on the How we work page; we agree a plan after discovery rather than promising dates up front.
Who owns the code?
It depends on the project. On a custom project, you own the code we build for you. On a build-and-licence project, Stato keeps ownership and licenses the software to you.
Where is our data hosted?
Our builds run on Vercel, Railway and Supabase. Your data is hosted in your region (UK, EU, US and more), wherever your business is based.
Can you take over an existing system?
Often, yes. Discovery starts with a read-only look at what you have, then we recommend whether to extend it or rebuild.
